Biography and Resume

Peter Sullivan has been performing since a very young age. It started with impromptu plays in his basement, evolved into school plays, then community theatre, and eventually became a career path for him. He knew it was the career for him when he was asked in Kindergarten what he wanted to be when he grew up, and he answered that he'd like to be a chimney sweeper because "they get to sing and dance around," and it was then explained to him that the chimney sweepers in Mary Poppins were performers, not real chimney sweepers. Then he knew he wanted to be a performer, not a chimney sweeper.

He has previously studied acting with Alan Safier, Jacqueline and Kerry Donelli, David Cady, Kevin Kuffa, Jon Lipsky, James Spruill, Elaine Van Hogue, Dr. Ruis Woertendyke, Erica Gould, and many other instructors. He has studied voice and speech and movement under the instruction of Paula Langton and Anjali Vashi, as well as movement under the instruction of Judith Chaffee. He is also a singer, and has previously trained with Claudia Catania, Frank Scafuri, and Paul Johnson.

Peter currently resides in New York City, where he holds a "day job" as a tour guide. He is a member of Christmas Matters Holiday Carolers, with whom he spreads holiday cheer at various corporate events, public celebrations and private homes!
